About

 Spring Hill Middle School (est. 2026) welcomes rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders into our school family! Our mission, Aim High, Work Hard, Lift Others, helps define the supportive, high-expectation culture we want every student to experience from day one. 

Our mascot, the Red Hawk, was thoughtfully selected by our Branding Committee to represent the values and spirit of our school. Both red-shouldered and red-tailed hawks are native to our area, so students can observe them living right here in their natural habitat. If you look closely at our mascot logo, you can see another Red Hawk reflected in the eye, symbolizing that at SHMS, students never fly alone - we’re right here to help coach them every day!

Middle school is a time of incredible growth - socially, emotionally, and physically. Couple that with new challenges in academics, a schedule with multiple teachers and different classrooms, and more independence throughout the day, and it’s easy to see why this can be a challenging time for kids. We recognize where our students are, and make it our goal to be developmentally responsive in all that we do to support them so that they are prepared for the next steps beyond us.
